The word “healing” seems to be used a lot these days.

I’ve been on my own journey of healing my back injury, there have been many ebbs of feeling down and darkness

However, I have also received a lot of insight, growth and experienced another evolution of myself as a woman.

I’ve also explored what the word “healing” actually means to me personally, so I thought I would share!

The Power’s Within YOU

Healing involves giving yourself what you needed during those unwanted past experiences that trigger you today.

Take a moment to reflect on what that was. Was it love? Rest? Feeling heard? Safety? Add yours here: ______!

Healing also equires relaxation, as you need to be relaxed to heal. A regulated nervous system. You can’t heal in a state of stress.

I also believe that sometimes healing can be about having fun too.

Immerse in fun-filled, soulful, joyous experiences that make you feel so big therefore past troubles feel so small.

Redefining Healing

The word “healing” doesn’t imply curing or fixing as though past experiences never happened.

It’s about viewing life’s past experiences as opportunities for inner work to grow, expand and evolve.

It involves releasing the energetic and emotional charge from these past experiences so they no longer define you and set you free.

Sometimes we sense that something needs healing, even if we don’t know the past stories behind it… and that’s okay! You don’t need to know and you can still heal.

It’s not so much the unwanted experiences or trauma that make you stronger, but your healing process

Navigating Your Healing Journey

Healing often isn’t linear.

Just when you think something is resolved, the past can resurface.

Triggers are our messengers to what needs healing.

However, by consistently doing the inner work, you gain new awareness, perspectives and approaches each time a challenge arises, potentially making it easier over time.

Such is life

Healing doesn’t mean being at a perfect equilibrium forever.

It’s about being aware when you’re not in your natural state and embodying the tools, practices and rituals that help you reset and return home to yourself.

The light and dark & ups and downs of life are normal, as life is a spiral.

Being human means experiencing a tapestry of emotions, just like Mother Earth with her tapestry of weather.

We need a bit of healthy stress to get us through the day and some positive pain to get us through exercise.

Grieving, crying and feeling anger are parts of navigating challenging times.

It’s when we remain in the darkness, letting it become chronic and victimhood and suffering arise. We might even project our pain onto others, making it hard to be around; this is when healing is needed.

Exploring Healing Paths

The feminine path to healing is slow, gentle & body-focused. Consistency is key but this promotes longer lasting results.

The masculine path is quick, forceful & is mind-focused. Results are usually achieved in one sitting but don’t usually last long.

If you feel called to nurture and create safety in your body, regulate your nervous system and gently release blocked energy, my offerings can be part of your consistent practice.

With my Feminine Healing Art modalities, I don’t intend to heal you; I hold the space for you to heal yourself.

I offer private Womb Hara Massage & Sekhem Healing. I also offer a Group Sekhem Activation.
